Everyone deserves a second chance, including recovered drug abusers. Since 2016, we have been providing dental care to individuals who have undergone drug rehabilitation through the Shining Smile Project. Drug abuse can have a significant impact on oral health, resulting in extensive damage and tooth decay. Unfortunately, many of these individuals hesitate to seek dental treatment due to fear of being stereotyped.

 

Our work extends beyond restoring oral function and aesthetics for individuals in drug rehabilitation. We aim to help them reintegrate into society and regain the confidence to support others in their recovery journey. Through our professional dental care, we provide them with an opportunity to rebuild their lives and embrace hope for the future. Our efforts have successfully provided over 500 treatments, aiding individuals in reclaiming their self-assurance along the way.

In 2023, we extended our services to vulnerable young mothers who have just given birth. We provide free dental care services to meet their oral health needs and promote the well-being of both the mother and the baby.
